Mr. Scott holds Bachelors degrees in biology and chemistry and a Masters and Doctorate degrees in Environmental Engineering.
Charles A. Turner, Associate Scientist
Mr. Turner has Bachelor degrees in Botany and Microbiology, and 23 years of professional experience in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments, Listed Species Surveys, Water Quality Monitoring, Shoreline Restoration, and Jurisdictional Wetlands Delineation. Mr. Turner is a FAA Certified Private Pilot, and has specialized in aerial photography, and the restoration of degraded wetland habitats. Mr. Turner has worked as an Environmental Regulator with Brevard County Office of Natural Resource Management, and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Mr. Turner is trained in Benthic Invertebrate Taxonomy for marine, estuarine, and fresh water systems.
David K. Silverman, ChE, CES, CEI
Mr. Silverman is a Chemical Engineer, Certified Environmental Specialist, Certified Environmental Inspector, and Pulp and Paper Engineer. He has worked in the pure water and waste water end of many Electronics and Metal Finishing Manufacturers including Greentron, Inc., Amp Incorporated, Advanced Board Circuitries, and Advanced Water Engineering, Inc. His degrees were earned at Georgia Tech.
Typical Services:
Hazardous Waste Management
Onsite compliance audits and waste profile determination are conducted to determine regulatory compliance, assist in waste minimization efforts, and to develop an overall plan to bring the facility in compliance.
Remedial Action Design
In areas of known contamination, complete design and installation of remedial equipment is available on a turn-key basis.
Waste Cleanup
In the event of a release, professionally trained respondents can perform all necessary functions, from regulatory reporting to complete removal of hazardous materials from the site.
Permitting
Complete in house capabilities are available for environmental permitting needs, along with support capabilities in design and compliance.
Engineering
Design and professional engineering services are available for remedial systems, wastewater treatment systems, and water supply systems.
Sampling & Analysis
Field service capabilities for sampling of wastewater, drinking water, soil, and hazardous waste, performed by technically trained members of the staff, followed by a detailed report correlating the data to regulatory compliance limits. A network of analytical laboratories have service agreements with CEE, Inc.
Wetland Delineation & Listed Species Surveys
State and Federal wetland permitting, onsite delineation, and mitigation design by a trained wetland biologist. In addition, State and Federal Listed Species surveys and permitting is available.
Environmental Assessments
Transactional environmental site assessments (Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III) are performed to determine the probable risk of contamination or the presence of hazardous constituents onsite.
These assessments are designed to provide the purchaser adequate level of investigation of the site before a property transfer or refinance.
Noise Level Monitoring
Instantaneous and daily monitoring to determine worker exposure is performed by a sound level meter. The data collected is evaluated and recommendation for corrective action or changes in engineering controls is provided to the client.
Indoor Air Quality Studies
Worker exposure studies of airborne substances can be performed. The data is evaluated and correlated to the current Threshold Limit Values (TLV’s). Corrective action recommendations and working condition evaluations are provided to the client in report form.
Aerial Photography
Oblique and overhead aerial photo’s. Date of photo and altitude can be chosen by the client to fit individual project needs.
LEAD (Pb) Management Plans (click for more info)
Lead management plans allow for proper management, inventory, accountability and disposal of Lead metal. These plans are tailored for Circuit board manufacturing and assembly, semiconductor manufacturing, and other plating/soldering industries.
